Each year a number of iconic annual events happen in Mt Morgan, these events will be listed on the Calender each year on this site, however as recurring events they are noted below.
Details: Held at ANZAC park each April 25, Mount Morgan hosts a significant annual remembrance of Australian Troops involvement at Gallipoli in World War I. Mt Morgan boast a regiment of the Light Horse Brigade who take part.
Details regarding the 2013 ANZAC Day Services taking place in Mount Morgan are as follows:
Dawn Service: 4.30am at ANZAC Park, Morgan Street.
Marshalling location: School of Arts / Marshalling time: 10.30am
Step off: 10.45am
A Day Service will also be held at Anzac Park at 11am. Followed by a luncheon at the Community Hall, Morgan Street from 12 noon.

Details:Each year during August, the Mount Morgan Showground comes alive with the thousands enjoying the annual Mount Morgan Agricultural Show.

Details:Adding extra meaning to “making the Christmas season bright”, the Mount Morgan Christmas Tree Festival is a must do in the local event calendar.
Each year, during a weekend in December, the Mount Morgan School of Arts hosts a spectacular sight as it is decked and dazzled with over 100 decorated Christmas trees.
Each tree on display is creatively decorated and uniquely personalised by the individuals, businesses and organisations who submit a tree; seeing and impressive exhibit of the community's culture and creativity.
Along with the dazzling display, children’s rides, Christmas carols and snacks are also available, along with a special visit from Santa. Since establishing ten years ago, this festival has grown in popularity, uniting much of the community and also the region each year.
