"Friday Night Live"

Mt Morgan's School of Arts will come to life on Friday night with the comedy of Australia's Number One indigenous comic entertainer, Sean Choolburra. He has performed on the Footy Show, Thank God your here and the Melbourne Comedy festival. Sean's comedy is uniquely & truly Australian. He blends popular culture, dance, comedy and hip hop in a high energy, feel good show. He is a rising star of not only the comedy world but also as an all round entertainer and guaranteed to raise your spirit while splitting your spleen.

Adding to the high calibre of entertainment is the former Rockhampton, now Brisbane based duo BusbyMarou.

From humble beginnings by the banks of the Fiztroy River Busby Marou are quickly making an impact on the Australian Music Scene. Jeremy, a proud Torres Strait Islander, has rare musical talent. He is fluent on just about every instrument, including ukulele, bass, drums and piano - But it is his natural ability on the guitar that will make you stop and listen. His obvious exposure to the traditional Murray Island song and dance as a child shines though the melodies and combined with Thomas' distinctly Australian way of sharing his stories, the pair have developed a unique and Australian song writing flavour. Cracking harmonies, breathtaking musicianship and a natural feel for each other's guitars!!

It's a night not to missed and suits ages from 16 to 99! With two options you can enjoy the show only for $15 or get together and book a table for a two course meal for $40 per person.

Tickets from the Mt Morgan Community Hub phone 49382262. Bookings required by Wednesday 28th April for dinner reservations.
